Regal Royalty Pageants is a platform for contestants to showcase beauty, confidence, talent and diversity. Whether you are new to the pageant scene or have years of experience, our local pageants will help contestants get familiarized or reacquainted with the stage. With that experience they will be able to explore the advanced pageant world and pursue bigger titles. We intend for all of our pageants to be fun and upbeat with natural and glitzy looks. Each contestant will be given a sash and a beautiful rhinestone crown for participation regardless of placement. We know that each contestant that takes our stage has royalty in their veins!
We anticipate for our pageants to become a staple in New York City and that it will gain significant exposure and recognition nationally and internationally.
Pageant contestants will showcase their natural beauty in Spring florals and pastel colors. Each contestant is required to wear a formal dress throughout the pageant. There are no outfit changes. Hair and makeup must be already done on arrival. There are no dressing rooms.

The entry fee covers the cost of the overall production, crowns, trophies, sashes and prizes. By submitting the entry fee, it guarantees a contestant spot in this pageant. There are no other fees. All payments are non-refundable due to the process of production. However, if a contestant can no longer participate in this pageant, their full payment can be used towards a future pageant or someone else can take their place (friend/family).
There will be 4 required competitions that the contestants will participate in for this pageant.

2. Personal Introduction (On Stage, 30 seconds)
3. Formal Wear (On Stage, 90 seconds)
4. Questions and Answers (On Stage, 90 seconds)
The purpose of this pageant is to not only present the contestant's natural beauty and confidence on stage, but to also encourage them to develop their skills in communication and public speaking.
This pageant will encourage contestants to:

The Beauties of Spring Pageant requires for each contestant to be a natural born female.
You do not need to win a preliminary title or have previous pageant experience to compete.
At the time of the pageant on May 4th, all contestants must be 4 to 16 years of age.

This pageant is open to all New York City and Tri-State Area residents.
This category requires the contestant to submit a NATURAL headshot photograph of themselves on pageant day. The photograph should be at least 4x6 in color and no larger than 8x10. Photos do not have to be professional but should be of good quality and clarity. A “Natural” face usually consists of minimal makeup that highlights natural features.
*Photos from a cellular device can be printed at a local pharmacy like Walgreens.
Judging Criteria:
Clarity of photo: 5 points
Photo Appeal: 5 points
Total: 10 points
The personal introduction competition will be an opportunity for the contestants to introduce themselves in front of the judges and audience. Introductions must be memorized and stated within 30 seconds. This part of the competition will encourage our contestants to use and improve their public speaking skills and stage presence.

On Stage: Contestants will be called to the stage by their pageant number. They will enter the stage from the left to "X1" then proceed to the mic on stage at "X2". They will state their personal introduction and then exit the stage on the left where they entered. Contestants should be confident, upbeat and vibrant.

The pageant’s formal wear competition is your opportunity to show the judges your grace, style and poise. Contestants will present themselves in their beautiful formal dresses for up to 90 seconds on stage. There will be a stage pattern that each contestant will have to follow. Tiny beauties can be accompanied by a chaperone on stage. Music will be provided.

This song will be continually playing on repeat throughout the formal wear competition. Contestants will enter the stage from any part of the song.
On Stage: Contestants will be called to the stage by their pageant number and name. They will enter the stage from the left and proceed to X1, then to X2, X3 and finally straight to X4. At each "X" point, contestants must make eye contact with the judges and smile. They must also do various poses displaying poise, confidence and features of their dress. After the last set of poses at X4, they will exit the stage on the left where they entered. Contestants may also include circling parts of the stage as displayed in the video examples above. A parent/guardian can be on stage with contestants ages 4 to 6 if needed.

A beauty pageant winner cannot just be beautiful by looks only; she must be intelligent and know how to speak with an objective. This competition will offer contestants the opportunity to express their thoughts on various topics. Each age group will answer one question (see below for the actual questions) where they will memorize their answer prior to pageant day and state it on stage. They will be given up to 90 seconds to state their answers. The questions asked will be used to judge the knowledge, intelligence and eloquence of a contestant.
On Stage: Contestants will be called to the stage by their pageant number and name. They will enter the stage from the left to "X1" then proceed to the mic on stage at "X2" where the host will be standing. The host will ask them their question for their age group, and they will have to state their answer into the mic within the 90 second time frame. They will then exit the stage on the left where they entered. A parent/guardian can be on stage with contestants ages 4 to 6 if needed.

If I had one wish, it would be for all kids to have toys. I think all kids should have toys, because they make kids happy, and you could also learn from them. Playing and learning is the best!

I would like to be Beyonce. I would like to be her for a day, because I would love to sing her songs in a studio and do her dance moves on stage. She is an inspiration to me, because I enjoy singing and dancing as well. One day I hope to become a big star just like her.

Jr. Beauty Question (Ages 10 to 12): Must state a minimum of 3 sentences.
Actual question for the pageant: What do you like most about yourself and how does it impact the people around you (friends, family, community, etc)?

The thing that I like most about myself is that I am very helpful. I help my little sister with homework, and I help my mom prepare dinner every night. I also volunteer with a community center near my house on Saturdays serving lunch to the less fortunate. I love being helpful to those around me because it makes me feel good.

Actual question for the pageant: Tell us about a challenge that you experienced and how did you overcome it.
Answer Example:
One challenge that I've experienced was in the 8th grade. I was taking a foreign language class (specify) and I was having a hard time pronouncing the words. I thought I was going to fail so I asked my teacher for extra help. She agreed and gave me extra help during my lunch period. That was such a great help for me because I received the highest grade in the class that semester.

Contestants will have the OPTION of participating in the following additional competitions. A deposit or full payment must be paid initially in order to participate in these competitions. On pageant day, the contestant with the highest score in each category will win a prize on stage.
The winner of this competition will be the contestant that exudes the best personality (confident, vibrant, sassy, etc) throughout the pageant.
The winner of this competition will be the contestant with the prettiest and most stylish hairstyle.
The winner of this competition will be the contestant with the prettiest smile during the pageant.
The winner of this competition will be the contestant with the prettiest formal dress.
Our judging panel may consist of titleholders from various pageants, novice judges, pageant experts, designers, etc. Regardless of who your judges are, your goal remains the same: to make a connection with each judge while you’re on stage. They will be looking for eye contact, smiles, stage presence, personality and confidence in their next grand supreme titleholder.
Final Scores
The decision of the judges will be final and not contestable for any reason.

The People's Choice competition is a great way for family and friends to get their votes in for their favorite contestant(s). $1 equals to one vote. They can vote as many times and as often as they like for their favorite contestant(s) on the Eventbrite website. Anyone can vote. There will also be an opportunity to vote on pageant day so make sure to walk with cash. The winner will win a fabulous prize on stage.

Remember, this is not a glitz pageant. The goal is to enhance the child’s natural beauty without making them look overly mature or glamorous. Less is often more when it comes to makeup and hairstyles for a natural look.
We are expecting to see an array of beautiful Spring colors. Dress features may include minimal to moderate amounts of crystals, sequin, pearls, flowers, etc while going with the "Spring Floral" theme. They should also be age appropriate and of a tasteful design. No bare midriffs. No oversized ball gowns. No glitz dress.
Dresses must be knee to ankle length.

Contestants should wear shoes with small heels or flats that complement their dresses. Non-slip shoe grips should be placed under their shoes to prevent slipping.
Each contestant will be given on stage a sash and a beautiful rhinestone crown for participation regardless of placement.
In each age division, there will be one “Supreme” winner. Therefore, there will be four “Supreme” winners in this pageant. The “Supreme “winners will have the highest scores in their age division. *Prizes can be subject to change.
Each Supreme winner will receive the following:
*A “Supreme” winner cannot also win the “Grand Supreme” title for this pageant.
In the overall pageant, there will be only one “Grand Supreme” winner. The “Grand Supreme” winner will have the highest overall score in the entire pageant from any age division.

The People's Choice competition is a great way to get family and friends involved by getting their votes in. They can vote as many times and as often as they like for their favorite contestant(s). There is no limit. Anyone can vote. The winner will win a fabulous prize on stage.
