The goal of this event was to get everyone’s mind off of the Pandemic for a little while and to enjoy the Christmas season. We hope that we did put a little Christmas cheer in your heart.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the first annual Little Miss Island Princess Beauty Pageant will be cancelled for 2020. Registration will still remain open from now until March 13, 2021.

The Little Miss Island Princess Beauty Pageant will be a themed semi-glitz beauty pageant that will be held in Brooklyn, New York annually. It will be a platform for young girls ages 4 to 12 to showcase beauty, confidence, talent and the diversity within the Caribbean culture. It will also showcase the talents of Brooklyn’s Caribbean hairstylists, makeup artists and clothing designers.

Island Princess International gathered volunteers in support of a holiday gift wrapping party for deserving children in the Brooklyn community. We provided this service for the Brooklyn Community Services Organization (Instagram: @wearebcs). This was a great volunteering opportunity for friends and family to give back to the community and bring joy to young children. 

Founded in 1866, the Brooklyn Community Services Organization is one of the oldest, non-profit, social service providers in New York City and one of the largest in Brooklyn, N.Y. This organization serves more than 20,000 people each year and continues to help children and youth reach their full potential.

The goal of this event was intended to encourage self and group motivation through roller skating and to elevate social skills.

The goals of this event was intended to encourage self expression through open mic, team work and elevating social skills through games and having the girls engage in an open discussion about the importance of self-love and self-confidence.
